Condition, collections and estimate confidence

Which factors may influence the displayed value range.

The Value Engine can take recognisable condition information from the title and description into account. Terms such as new, well preserved, used or damaged lead to different factors. If no clear condition is available, the system cautiously uses an unknown-condition factor. When a find is recognised as a collection or group of several items, a limited collection factor may also apply. The displayed confidence describes how reliable the applied rule and technical match are considered to be. Higher confidence does not mean that condition, brand, age or functionality are fully known.
